Patient, male, 54 years old, married. He sought medical treatment in multiple hospitals for 23 years due to progressive heaviness, pain, and fatigue in both lower limbs. He was diagnosed with deep venous valve insufficiency of both lower extremities by ultrasound and antegrade venography in both lower extremities. He had performed valvuloplasty of the common femoral vein of both lower extremities. However, the symptoms gradually recurred 2 months after the operation, and the symptoms were the same as before the operation within half a year, and further aggravated.
pysical examination:No special findings were found on the physical examination. There are surgical scars on the thighs of both lower limbs. No superficial varicose veins. The preoperative angiographic results were consistent with the diagnosis of deep vein valve insufficiency. Diagnosis: Primary deep venous valve insufficiency of both lower extremities and postoperative recurrence. After one week of comprehensive anti-venous reflux measures, all symptoms disappeared. No obvious treatment side effects. Resume normal life and work ability. The function of deep veins of both lower extremities returned to normal under ultrasound and angiography, and the appearance of bamboo joints and the inner diameter of the official cavity returned to normal. It is recommended to continue taking the medication and maintain treatment.
The results of the image inspection are attached.
The venography of the lower extremities of the patient several years after the onset of the disease showed that the veins were dilated and refluxed, and the bamboo-like appearance of the valve was weaker than normal, especially the dilated veins below the knee joint caused the bamboo-like appearance to disappear completely. The patient's symptoms are severe. After healing, all venous segments and branch diameters returned to normal by ultrasound examination, and the blood flow velocity was normal. There was no venous blood reflux in the valsa.
